Our Story

Born In The Highlands of Jalisco

Where we Come From:

Halcón de Oro Tequila is a bold expression of heritage and craftsmanship, born in the red-soiled highlands of Jalisco where agave thrives under intense sun and cool mountain air. Produced at NOM 1617, Halcón reflects a commitment to authenticity and precision.

Crafted from carefully selected blue Weber agave grown in the highlands, Halcón de Oro delivers a naturally sweeter, fruit-forward profile balanced by earthy depth and a clean, mineral finish. Each bottle captures the spirit of its origin: elevated, powerful, and refined. Named after the “Golden Falcon,” the brand symbolizes strength, vision, and ascent, an homage to those who aim higher and move with purpose.

THE GOLDEN FALCON

In the highlands of Jalisco, the peregrine falcon—the fastest animal in the world—commands the sky with unmatched speed, precision, and vision. Yet its true power lies not only in its flight, but in its patience, purpose, and unwavering focus.

Halcón de Oro | The Golden Falcon | was chosen as a tribute to these enduring qualities and to the people who embody them. It is a name for those who honor their roots, pursue excellence without compromise, and rise higher with every journey.
Heritage That Ascends

THE IDEA BEHIND EVERYTHING WE DO

Heritage That Ascends is more than a philosophy, it is the standard that guides everything we do and our unwavering commitment to crafting the world's finest tequila.

Using only what the agave gives us, free from additives and unnecessary shortcuts, we craft every bottle with intention, precision, and uncompromising care. We choose quality over quantity, making less so every sip reflects the highest expression of our craft. Our pursuit is simple yet ambitious: to create the world's best tequila, not only measured by what's in the glass, but by the authenticity, integrity, and connections it inspires. We invite those who share our values to rise with us.

A Family Legacy

For generations, our founder's family has tended the agave fields of Jalisco. Halcón de Oro is not an arrival, it is a return, shaped by the artistry his family has practiced for a lifetime.

Two Million Acres of Estate Agave

Cortes y Camarena sits surrounded by nearly two million acres of 100% Blue Weber agave. We tend the fields. We oversee the harvest. We answer to no supplier, only to the land itself.

Made by Masters

Our tequila is shaped by two of the highlands' most respected master distillers, including a maestra tequilera leading a craft long defined by men. They make the cuts. They guard the standard.

Small Batch. By Choice

8 to 12 years before an agave is mature enough to harvest. Small batches. No shortcuts. Halcón de Oro is made in deliberate, limited quantities, and tastes like it.

What Sets Us Apart

OWNERSHIP. QUALITY. CONTROL.

At Cortes Y Camarena (NOM 1617), nestled in the highlands of Jalisco and surrounded by more than two million acres of Blue Weber agave, every step of our process remains under our care. We cultivate our own fields, oversee each harvest, and our master distillers craft every batch with uncompromising precision.

There are no shortcuts. No contract production. No white-label spirits. Only tequila made with complete ownership, from agave to bottle.

It is a more demanding path, but excellence always is. For us, there is no other way to create the tequila we believe the world deserves.
Our Commitment

NO ADDITIVES. NO SHORTCUTS. NO APOLOGY.

We use only 100% Blue Weber agave, pure deep well water, and the patience that true tequila demands. Nothing more. Every aroma, every layer of flavor, and every finish is earned through nature, time, and uncompromising dedication, an authentic expression of the agave itself. We are additive free.
